I took this shot in the Yakima River Canyon between Ellensburg and Selah, WA. This Ponderosa Pine stands alone in a field of Red Osier Dogwood and Aspen. I took this shot in early spring before the decidious trees start budding. I love the subtle colors this time of the year in the canyon.
